| FELDF provided the buses to the No Fear Coalition for the Freedom Ride after the Freedom Rally to visit Senator Joseph Lieberman to move the No Fear Act. Reverend Al Sharpton rode from Freedom Plaza to the Hart Senate Office Building to request that Senator Lieberman move the No Fear bill out of his committee. Shortly after this March 5, 2002 event, the legislation moved out of committee, passed the House and Senate and was signed into law by President George W. Bush. |
